IBasic Standard is an all-in-one, easy-to-use programming language that has the power to create any type of application or utility that you can imagine.

IBasic Standard FAQ:
Q Do IBasic Standard compiled executables
require token files or runtime DLL's ?
A No. Unlike other BASIC's, the executables IBasic creates are
completely stand alone.
Q What do I need to install IBasic Standard?
A Any of the current unzipping programs. 16 bit unzippers may
have problems. We recommend using WinZip 6.1 (32 bit) or
greater. You can download the latest version of WinZip from
www.winzip.com.
The built in zipping capabilities of Windows XP and Windows
98 Plus! pack also work well. If you have problems just let
us know and we can recommend a few others.
Q OK I have purchased IBasic Standard but can't figure out how
to get the full version. I still have the shareware version
showing.
A After your purchase you will be provided with a license
code and an order ID. Choose the 'Help' menu from within
IBasic and select 'Activate'. Enter your registration
details exactly as provided. You will also
receive an email with this information. Keep it in a safe
place as your license code will work with all new versions
of IBasic Standard
Q Do you have a compiled executable I can try?
A Visit the File Repository.
Many of the programs there include the compiled
EXE as well as the source code
Q I have installed IBasic Standard but cannot find the manual
or samples.
A You can open the manual and sample by going to Start >
Programs > IBasic. The samples and help files can be found
in your installation directory. For example if you
installation directory was C:\Program Files then all of the
samples would be located in C:\Program Files\Pyxia
Development\IBasic\Samples
Q I can't seem to open the User's Guide.
A The manual is stored in HTMLhelp format. You need to have
Internet Explorer 4.0 or above installed on your system. If
you still have trouble opening the manual download the
following HTMLhelp update.
The help update is only for Windows 95, 98 and ME. Windows
2000 and XP already have the update installed.
Q How do I open the GUI/Dialog Editor?
A Select the 'File' menu and choose 'New'. Pick 'GUI/Dialog
editor' from the list.
Q Does IBasic Standard require DirectX to run?
A No. You can run the editor without DirectX installed.
However, if you use any of the DirectX 2D or 3D functions
you will need to have at least DirectX 7.0 or greater installed.
Q Can I create executables that do not require DirectX?
AOf course. You can choose to target either a straight
Windows program, console only, or a DirectX 2D/3D application.
Q Does IBasic Standard support Direct 3D?
A Yes in versions 1.97 or greater IBasic included a Direct3D
RM interface for easily creating 3D worlds.

Recommended requirements:
- 500 MHz or better processor.
