IBasic Professional Source License

The source code includes an archive of all of the IBasic Professional core commands written in IBasic Professional and some assembly language format for use in your own programs. The license covers all updates of the core commands inclusive of version 2.0
The source code license includes the IBasic Gold CD as a bonus so you get a complete development package with full source to the core commands allowing creation of custom command libraries for use with your programs.

Q Is there a limit to the number of include files or project files I can have in my program?
A No limit. You can have as many include and source files in your projects as you need.
Q Is the 15 day trial upgradable to the full version?
A No. The 15 day trial is specifially designed to run for a limited time. After which you need to purchase and download the full version from our order processor.
Q I keep getting the error "Unresolved external _window_list" whats wrong?
A Your compiling a program meant for Windows as a Console EXE target. Choose "Windows EXE" as the target in the Executable
Options or Project Options dialog.
Q How small are the executables created with IBasic Pro?
A command line programs and DLL's start out at about 8K. Windows applications at around 25K. Your results will vary depending on the complexity of your program and resources included.
Q How fast are the executables created with IBasic Pro?
A That depends on the program. IBasic Pro compiled executables are an average of 600 times faster than an IBasic Standard executable.
Q Is IBasic Professional compatible with Windows XP SP2 and the new DEP protection.
A Yes. IBasic Professional created executables are compatible
with SP2 and have been extensively tested.
Q Are updates to IBasic Professional free?
A Yes. All core compiler updates and updates to purchased
command paks are free.
Q I have IBasic Standard, can I get IBasic Professional for adiscount?
A No. IBasic Standard and IBasic Professional are two separate products.
Q I can't get any of the 2D examples to run.
A The 2D examples require DirectX 7.0 or greater installed on your system.
Q I want to make command paks for IBasic Professional, is there an SDK available?
A NO.
Q How easy is it to use the Windows API with IBasic Professional?
A As simple as $INCLUDE "windows.inc"

The windows include file contains all of the necessary
DECLARE statements, TYPE definitions and constants so you
never have to type in a DECLARE manually. Unlike other
languages like Visual Basic.
