Spam Washer Panicware is Spamwasher is a rules based spam filter for POP3 based email accounts, employing a fairly complex system of continually updated rules, along with a whitelist to sort between spam and the email that you want to receive. The Windows software works (and works well) with most any email program that you might use to receive mail from your POP3 email server (Outlook, Netscape Mail, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc). SpamWasher lists for $40 and is available for $30 as a download from Panicware¡¯s website (how I acquired my copy), or in stores like Amazon and Office Depot. Once installed on your system, Spamwasher runs in the background and inserts itself between your email software and your ISP is mail server, sending good mail to your email program and holding spam to be checked (or not) at your convenience.
