Horsepower Lab 2D
Horsepower Lab 2D is a software package for numerical computation of compressible flows through local flow restrictions. It helps to determine pressure loss coefficients and coefficients of discharge with account for compressibility effects for wide range of Mach (M)
numbers, for flows taking place at high Reynolds (Re) numbers.
Geometry of restrictions is limited to 2D. More accurate results are obtained for flows with "geometry-induced" flow separation, i.e. where more or less sudden contractions/expansions are present in the flow domain layout.
