The keys are always working only for one special version. If you have bought version 4, you will received free updates for all versions within version 4...

No, MovieJack is no spyware. It only checks the exact number of the installed version and compares this with the latest released version.
I have a very fast system. Why is it so time consuming to convert a movie?
Video encoding is a very complex thing. But with modern devices (not older than one year), conversion or encoding can be done nornally in real time.
The size of the MPEG output file is bigger than the size of the CD media I have set as output size. How can this be?
Using the (S)VCD Format it's possible to store more information per sector in comparison to a normal data disc. MovieJack calculates the output size in a way it will fit to your disc, don't worry. :)
What is a X(S)VCD?
Using the X(S)VCD Format it's possible to set the upper and the lower limit of the video bitrate. So it's possible to have influence on the size and quality od the MPEG file. Is it possible to convert movies from NTSC to PAL format?
No, because these are completly different formats. A conversion would result in audio and video problems...
