Galaxy 3D Space Tour (screensaver) Our Sun is like a grain from at least 200 billion stars orbiting around the center of our enormous "cosmic island" so-called Galaxy or Milky Way.
When you look through binocular or a telescope, it is seen to be composed of vast numbers of individual, faint stars. It is actually the disk of our own galaxy - seen from our perspective (within the disk), the flat lens-shape of the Galaxy appears to surround us.
There are also two tiny galaxies called Magellanic Clouds orbiting around Milky Way.
But what if we leave our Solar System and the Galaxy on fantastic space ship and look back to our Space Island? What should we see? It's impossible to verify, but we can imagine and simulate this fascinating space view using latest astronomical knowledges about The Galaxy.
This screensaver is an attempt to make such simulation as close to reality as possible, using modern 3D technologies. (You can also adjust simulation quality, speed and complexity through screensaver settings dialog).

A: If you have questions about how to order, please select Purchase from the menu on the top or contact us at sales@fpsoftlab.com
- Q: I have re-installed Windows and lost my registration key.
A: Please contact sales@fpsoftlab.com, we will re-send your key.
- Q: One of your Fire screensavers displays garbled/corrupted image or palette
A: This may happen with some rare videocards or incorrect drivers. You can easy avoid this bug by switching "Use Direct X mode" or changing resolution in screensaver settings dialog.
- Q: Your 3D screensavers are very slow.
A: You need OpenGL compatible 3D accelerated videocard. If you have it, please install latest manufacturer's device drivers. (Usually available for free on videocard manufacturer's website).
If your videocard does not supports OpenGL hardware acceleration, you can try to switch videomode to lower resolution & color-depth in screensaver settings dialog.
- Q: Your 3D screensavers are very slow and jerky. I am using Windows XP.
A: Please be sure to install the latest XP-compatible drivers from your video card manufacturer. The internal XP drivers does not support hardware accelerated OpenGL.
