It is possible to modify every(!) value (gold, energy, vitality, character-steps etc.) for all characters. This example works with the value "gold".
You can reuse the scheme for other games, too.

Tip: Do not modify the standard settings in "GameWiz32" as they work fine
• Step 1: At first run "GameWiz32" and then "Diablo 2". Start a new game or load a savegame.
• Step 2: Keep your current amount of gold in mind. Now press [ALT-TAB] or the hotkey to switch to "GameWiz32". Press the button "Program selection" and make a doubleclick on the "Diablo 2"-entry.
• Step 3: Enter the value for gold you kept in mind into the field "Find:" and press the button "Begin Search".
• Step 4: After your pressed the button, click on the button "To program" to switch back to "Diablo 2".
• Step 5: Inside Diablo 2 try to modify the value, i.e.: buy an item, take gold out of your inventory or collect gold. Do something to modify your current amount of gold! Keep the modified value in mind and switch to "GameWiz32" using [ALT-TAB] or the hotkey.
• Step 6: Enter the new amount of gold into the field "Find" and press the button "Search again". You will find three entries ("addresses") in the field "Results".
• Step 7: Doubleclick on these entries and give them names like "gold1, gold2, gold3".
• Step 8: Now you can see the entries in the field "Table of user-defined entries" and the amount of gold in the field "Value". You can modify the values for example to 9999999. You should modify all three entries to the same value. After modifying a value, press "return" on the keyboard. A box occurs that asks if you really want to modify the value. Press "Yes".
• Step 9: Press the button "To program" to switch back to "Diablo 2". Your amount of gold should now be the same as the value you entered in "Step 8". You shouldn't use the modified Diablo 2 character when playing a network game like battle.net. It is a question of fairness!
